Opinion paragraph

• Gives the writer’s opinion about an issue.
• Often talks about topics people disagree on.
• Uses facts and reasons to support the opinion.
• May include citations/sources for the facts.
• Sometimes mentions the opposite opinion.
• Tries to make readers think seriously or agree with the writer.

*Grammar: Common Suffixes

Suffixes help show a word’s part of speech.

• Noun: -ment, -ness
• Verb: -ize, -ate
• Adjective: -ful, -able
• Adverb: -ly

Some words can have different functions.
Example: paint (noun/verb).

                 Working and Studying Together

       I think working and studying at the same time can be good for students if they manage their time well. First, having a part-time job helps students earn money to pay for their education and daily expenses. Second, students can learn important skills such as communicationu, teamwork, and responsibility through work experience. In addition, working can help students become more independent and confident. However, studying and working at the same time can also be stressful and tiring if students do not balance their schedules properly. In conclusion, working while studying has both advantages and disadvantages, but it can be beneficial for students when they have good  time management skills.
